Backing Tracks & Instrumentals
A backing track is a recording without the part you want to play or sing, so you can practise along with it. The most useful thing to know about any backing track is its tempo and key — that is exactly what SnapLyrics shows for every song.
SnapLyrics does not host audio files. Use the tempo and key below to find or build the right practice material.
How to practise with tempo and key
- 1Set your metronome or DAW to the song’s BPM before you start.
- 2Use the key to choose your scale — the relative key shares the same notes.
- 3For DJ sets, move to a neighbouring Camelot number or switch A/B for a smooth transition.
