WAV keeps full quality; convert to MP3 later if you need a smaller file.
Key (semitones)
1 semitone = one fret on a guitar. Most singers only need −3 to +3.
Slows down or speeds up without changing the key.
Change the key of a song for your voice
- Lower the key (negative semitones) if the chorus is too high for you; raise it if the verses feel too low.
- Male and female voices usually sit about 4–5 semitones apart, which is why karaoke tracks come in “male key” and “female key” versions.
- Shifting more than about 4 semitones starts to sound unnatural, especially on vocals. Instrumental backing tracks shift more cleanly.
- Only process audio you have the right to use. The tool does not keep or share your files.
How it works
- 1Open an audio file (MP3, WAV, M4A…). It is processed in your browser and never uploaded.
- 2Move the key up or down in semitones and listen; change the speed if you need it slower.
- 3Download the result as a WAV file.
